CONTROVERSIAL WORKS
This artwork was created for DeepStitched Records, a proudly South African record label. I was tasked to create the EP cover artwork for 'Controversial Works' by Zaven. The artwork was used online on streaming sites as well as promotional content.
For this artwork, I wanted to convey the mood I feel surrounds a controversial topic. When the public explores a new topic of discussion, those brave enough to share their opinions can often be misinterpreted. The topic is mired by opinions versus facts with stinging words used to silence others leaving the topic further mystified in fear and shadow.
Projects where I get to design the cover art for music are among my favourites. This is what I love doing.
