UNDRESS
What’s modesty? What’s vulnerability?
Undress goes deeper than taking off clothes or the idea of sexy. Undress is skin deep it’s emotional it talks about a broad history of societal pressure on women over the course of history. With this project I attempt to break away from the rules of dressing but more so the rules of undressing and take that forward to create a collection that takes about being comfortable and the joy of having one’s personal space. Colours are muted for the design and fabric to speak for themselves while elaborate silhouettes reflect on the deeper understanding of undressing.
