The brief was to create an identity for a multi-disciplinary art and design magazine. The overall aesthetic is of the publication is edgy, off-beat and narrative, favouring editorials and articles that tell a story or make social commentary. This project needed an identity that could stretch over a variety of outputs. The cover design needed flexibility, but also to be consistent over multiple issues.

After a number of iterations, the masthead that was decided upon featured a solid typeface. In order to communicate the multi-disciplinary nature of the magazine, the text was carefully warped to show movement and change.
