Sudtana is a vegan skin care company from Thailand that specializes in all-natural personal care products that range from facial masks, serums, and more.

I applied for a certain creative position and these are what I came up with for their design test, and are not to be taken as official marketing materials.

I was tasked to create a video promoting their Bergamot, Coconut and Sesame Hair Mask Oil - making sure to include in the messaging that the product is vegan and organically sourced. I was required to make my own script and video thumbnails according to their established brand look and guide, so I decided to take it a step further and apply the same treatment to the video as well.

It was clear that the target market were women who usually dye their hair - but I wanted to also include women who have hair issues due to chemical and heat styling - whether by straightening or perming, curling or blow drying (that when done daily all takes its toll on our locks anyway). My overall aim was to promote the product as an all-natural fix to women's hair struggles so that everyday can be a great hair day, and that despite what they do to play around with their hair, they can still enjoy their 'best hair ever'.

These are the video thumbnails I came up with - according to their current brand style. I specifically used women with different hair styles and textures since the market is diverse and not all women have one specific hair type.

This is the final output with the first thumbnail as the 'scroll stopper'. Since this was for an application anyway, I was encouraged to just make up reviews for the product since I wasn't provided video clips for those - hence the pastel thumbnails.
