In this course, we learned about the idea of repeat, types and playing with scale.
Taking an inspiration from foliage, studying the forms and taking it forward in the form for a print surface and the importance of bel, buta and jal.

Studying the forms of the inspiration and simplifying to create the JAL ,BALE and BUTA.
JAL 4"X4" square repeat
The square is folded along the red lines and both of the two opposite sides are folded to create the repeat.
