Wikisource logo refresh, 2005
Icebergs preserve the water of previous millennia, keeping them pure, in their original form.
Wikisource keeps transcripts of documents, preserved on the website.
The site is a little-known sister project of Wikipedia.
At one point in 2004, I decided to doodle on Illustrator, create an iceberg illustration based on a grainy photo illustration Wikisource used as its logo, dubbed "Sourceberg". Admittedly, I only spent a half-hour or so on it, if I remember correctly, and threw it online. Some loved it, but others thought "lets hold a logo contest." After a few months, with no end to the contest in site, the German Wikisource community got fed up, and started to use my "Newberg" logo without interlanguage consent. They weren't willing to back down, so the rest of the projects essentially said "I guess that solves that."
