the Pike Place Market.
A tower, touching the sky like a massive pin;
as if it's placing the city on a paper map.
The Puget Sound, in all directions, encompassing my soul;
& the Cascade Mountains, a bookend to every sunset.
The Waterfront, a collection of piers, stood just over the dark water beneath.
