PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Faro’s Portfolio store is part of a wider remodelling project that also involved the shops located in Porto, Funchal, and Lisbon.
The creative proposition was based on the Portuguese identity, favouring the use of materials made in Portugal. The materials included Viúva Lamego tiles, cork, pinewood, Valchromat, and slate stone, which helped accentuate the distinctive Portuguese character on the architectural project.
The combination of all these materials allow for a modern atmosphere and visual harmony, namely the pairing of pinewood with small inserts of tile on the furniture.
The shop is comprised of five different “worlds” – Flavours, Handicraft, Design, Fashion, and Culture – each with a unique ambiance that, nevertheless, works perfectly as a whole.
