The project aimed at studying and understanding the aesthetics and identity of international haute couture designer GARETH PUGH, and designing a collection. As understood through research, the designer often takes inspiration from real life situations. Therefore, inspiration for the collection was taken as a narrative of the struggles faced by a model in the fashion industry
The unit focused on concept develpoment, advanced pattern cutting, garment construction and couture finishes.
