This textile print has its root in rich Indian Heritage. The Warli Art is an old art to paint the wall of huts. And it is still practiced in villages today. It is a beautiful art form. On the mud walls, a white paste (chuna) is used to make designs. The mostly have ball and stick figures to represent man and women.  The peacock design here is a little inspiration from the colors of Indian art and culture.
I created this design when in my free time, I was watching The stranger things. The design is inspired by the strange demon shown in the season. The color palette represents the upside down world's cold atmosphere. However, the design has a sweet and sober feel to it that you get from the bond that the kids have in the season. It is just my interpretation. And it has given rise to a pretty textile print.
