John Frederick A. Arceo's profile

A Creative Breakdown | Pagsulat (2018)

A Creative Breakdown by ARCEO, John Frederick A., the writer, editor, and director of the short film.
COLOR PALETTE
In this short film, I decided to give it a take on what kind of a person I am, since this is also written by me, I tried to put myself in the situation of the characters whilst imparting my personality and identity at the same time. Thus, explains the color palette or grading that I chose or rather accidentally created from the continuous rigging and bumping of the greens, blues, and gray.
RAW SHOTS
As what you can see below, these were some of the raw footage, unprocessed without any color grading. (Canon EOS 650D, Sigma 18-35mm ART, and a Zoom Lens that I forgot what it is) On a personal standpoint, and opinion, this is one of the factors of why and how I color graded the short film. As someone who likes dark colors, preferably black, grey and white, I tried to imply my color sense to the film itself thus trying to darken the shot whilst implying a sort of "greenish demonic" color scheme, frankly speaking I entitled the preset that I made "HELLISH COLOR", just for the fun of it.
FINAL OUTPUT
Now with the thoughts, and creative thinking that were done, here are some of the processed footage from the short film.
