This was by far my biggest video project yet, and definitely my longest. I started coming up with ideas for a background video to this song, and realized that there really wasn't a point in my trying to recreate the beautiful stock footage or try to find footage myself that captured the natural beauty of the Earth without traveling all over the place. I decided I would instead go for a more organic route to the video. I ended up finding a bunch of old footage from archive.org. I utilized anything from nature documentaries to 8mm home movies (including some VHS cameos of me as a baby).

The text effect was created by writing out every line about 10-15 on paper (yes, this was real) and scanning it and playing it back at roughly 4 fps.
