Color Expression
For this Project I took different water polo images and used color and form to express the feeling and action shown by each player. I am a water polo player for Fresno Pacific University, and am giving a visual for different expressions that players feel during a match.
Red Rip Curl
This First Image is of a field player that is about to shoot the ball. I used red colors, because red symbolized aggressiveness, energy, excitement, and intensity, which are emotions field players express before shooting the ball.
Blue Tsunami
The second image depicts of a goalie (my position), that is about to block the ball. For this image I used blue because it symbolizes being calm, focused, anticipation, and coordination, which are all mindsets a goalie experiences while blocking a ball.
Yellow Splash
The last image is of a player celebrating a good play or win. I used Yellow to express his emotion because yellow symbolizes celebration, happiness, cheer, and intensity, which goes through athletes minds after a major accomplishment.
