Following the theories of psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan, the work 'Mirror
Stage' questions the identification process of an individual in the case
of the absence of the mirror stage. It tries to capture a way of existence
without self-identification. So, the work represents an individual who
can only have a partial visibility of himself and the reflections of that
limited process.
