Awareness Campaign - Single use plastic
My aim for this project was to create a range of imagery to raise awareness of the impact that single use plastics has on the oceans and it's wildlife.
We often perceive the biggest threats to us in the ocean with top predators like sharks & toxic animals such as the box jellyfish. The aim behind the imagery in this poster was to question our perception of what the biggest threats in the ocean is, not necessarily to us (yet) but to all wildlife.
Guerilla advertising
As part of the campaign I thought it would be important to reach the public in places where quite often plastic waste is often left behind. The concept for this part of the campaign is to make either stickers or create a stencil of a warning sign, one that is in the shape of a dangerous animal warning. The location would be key for this to be effective as it needs to be seen by the public and the aim would be to make people more conscious of their waste when visiting the seafront.
Unnatural Predator
Another play on the same concept as before but in a different format in order for it to be used in different environments.
