This unique festival, which takes place entirely underwater, is held every year on the Fourth of July weekend to raise awareness for the preservation of the coral reefs off the coast of South Florida. Attendees don wacky outfits and play makeshift instruments along with nautical-themed tunes, such as music from 'The Little Mermaid' and 'SpongeBob SquarePants', being played through underwater speakers. The element of fun is present throughout the festival, and that element was translated into the style and color choices of the poster.

This project was very open-ended from the start; there were not many parameters or limitations attaches to this project, minus having the minimum dimension of the poster longer than 16 inches, and the largest dimension no more than 30 inches. Almost all of the musical objects were rendered from memory, save for the trombone. The grain texture in the instruments serves as dimensionality to the instruments, as well as representing the sand of the ocean floor, where the festival takes place.
