The project of art workshops for people with disabilities.
„Art. as the counteracting of the social exclusion of people with disabilities” - a group of workshop in a newly designed hotel in the Old Farbiarnia building at Świętej Trójcy St. in Bydgoszcz.
Project of the art studios in the Stara Farbiarnia building was created to counteract the exclusion of disabled people by society. Negative attitude caused by ignorance, fear or stereotypical thinking has a huge impact on the process of rehabilitation of a disabled person and the process of self-acceptance.
In response to this problem, a workshops was created to give disabled people the opportunity to participate in art therapy classes and improve their skills in fully comfortable conditions in professionally equipped laboratories. This place favors integration, exchange of experiences and allows the transformation of emotions into art.
The raw and clean interior does not disturb the imagination and allows creating in comfortable and convenient conditions. Inside, there are many industrial elements referring to the former purpose of the building.
