Design, Storyboards and Animation: Einar Baldvin
Client: Orexo
Advertising Agency: Strawberry Frog (strawberryfrog.com
Music: Atli Arnarson
The film was commissioned by Orexo and I designed, storyboarded and animated it under the supervision of the advertising agency Strawberry Frog (strawberryfrog.com) who provided the words and the voiceover. Everything was animated on paper, using pen, ink, watercolor and coffee.

Stills from an animated project I made for James Franco for the feature film "The Labyrinth"  The Labyrinth is a compendium of character-based original short stories, exploring the unknown, the unexplained and the unimaginable and the purpose of the animation was to tie the stories together.

The basic animation was created the old-fashioned way so I drew around 1700 drawings on paper for the 2 minute and 20 second animation which consists exclusively of moving camera shots as we follow an unseen protagonist through the vast maze.  Once the drawings were shot, I colored them digitally.

James lent his voice to the animation as well as executive produced it.
An animated intro I made for the USC Adobe First Frame Showcase.
Below are various drawings and other projects.
The Midnight Baboon is a film I hope to make sooner than later.
