For Egyptians, a popular stereotype is that “El Haram” area is a place for promiscuity. However, it is a normal area with normal people regardless of the existence of Cabarets that are exaggerated within the media.
The whole concept of stereotypes is based upon your perception of something or someone and that perception has a fragmented belief that has been implanted by society. This concept will be tackling the issue by addressing the perception of the audience; by making them look more than once with the theme that perceptions can be deceiving at first.
People will at first see the frame on the left, seeing El Haram street as they believe it is by showing an initial image that does seem to cement their idea of promiscuity. However the image then changes to one showing a normal street with the phrase "Its not what you think".
This lenticular poster will be accompanied by a QR code to scan so people can learn more about the area
