Traverse City is a major tourist destination in Northern Michigan where many people have weekend and summer homes. Vacationers travel here to partake in beach living, boating and golf in the summer, hunting, fishing and wine tours in the fall, snow sports in the winter, biking, hiking and more golf and fishing in the spring.

This gated board is the unofficial the gateway to “Up North”, the spot where you leave the city behind, and nature and relaxation begins. Traverse City a major tourist destination is three hours north. “Going Up North” is a generic term in Michigan for going on vacation.

Traverse City's adverting changes with the seasons, highlighting the activities and experience of each. Summer is where we started with a focus on beach living. For the Fall we focused on the road trip and fall colors aspect of the region. The client was impressed with the design and had us redesign their digital campaign to coordinate. For the winter, skiing and the winter sports aspect of TC was a perfect solution.
