The assignment was to create a new ad for an existing company that we would eventually invent a whole advertising campaign for. I chose Essie because at the time they were fairly new to me and they had a wide selection of vibrant colors I'd never seen used in nail polishes. My favorite part of working on this ad was when I learned I could use the eyedropper too in InDesign to match the font with the actual color of the polish.
This was another ad idea for the Essie campaign. The ad was tailored to teenagers and young adults and would be seen in a magazine or salon brochure. The idea is to be more than the average name, to step beyond all boundaries and take a leap of faith with Essie.
