I have been a fan of Lady Gaga since 2009. Throughout the years, her visual aesthetic and style has inspired not only my fashion sense, but also my design aesthetic. Her versatility really brings my design skills to life and how she can pull off any look really inspires me.

The first version of this project was made in 2015 (click me!) and got a lot of reblogs on tumblr. From my last design, two albums of Gaga were released: Joanne and the A Star Is Born soundtrack.

A major difference in both projects are my design style. I still play with basic shapes, but I try to avoid sharp points in this project. Also, I experiment with gradients, which I rarely do. Flat solid design is already out of date, so gradients are my way to go.

I added the disco stick to 'The Fame' and the Koons ball on 'ARTPOP'. I also made a change to the eye style. The first project made Gaga look mad, and for this version, I tried for a tamer look. I also changed the skin color of 'ARTPOP' to match the statue's taupe-hued color.
