This fun weekend project was made for a local burn event (Burnerot 2016).

My role encapsulated the entire design management: from planning to fabrication.

It started from a simple 3d model (3d curves).

The model was processed through a Grasshopper definition, which calculated a list of material details, and generated output geometry for the laser cutter. These were to function as angle/position jigs for the steel rods.
