In order to promote the sense of belonging and expression during Pride Month, I have designed a stylistically-simple graphic that has translated into PRIDE Badge patches. These patches are a way for members of the LGBTQIA+ community (or its allies) to express their identity and stance on human rights. 

The idea is for those who identify with the community to not be invisible. Today’s political climate in the United States is unpredictable and sometimes worrying. The current president and his administration won’t even acknowledge Pride Month. Instead of letting those in power ignore or stifle the LGBTQIA+ community, I’d rather encourage the community to stand proud and be visible. Visibility is important to the advancement and progression of equality and rights for this community.
