OBJECTIVE
Design an inviting, printed promotional piece to announce and excite the public about the event, “An afternoon with Salma Hayek” who will speak about the movie FRIDA. It will be held in front of The San Diego Museum of Art at the beautiful and historic Balboa Park, San Diego, CA.

SOLUTION
Concept, to use a dynamic and diverse way to demonstrate what and who she was. Researched engaging photo for basis of concept. Utilizing Illustrator, the image was divided into 7 panels reflecting multiple diversities which she embodied. Using different color harmonies and image manipulations, together created an eye-catching and curious final visual. Viewers are reminded that Frida Kahlo was an eccentric but one of the most well known Mexican painters.
