The objective was to create a tradeshow exhibit for Rivendell Bicycle Works. This ehxibit was restricted to a 30ft x 30ft space with a 20ft wall.
Rivendell is a bicycle company that prides itself on craftsmanship and customer service. Every bicycle designed by Rivendell is hand crafted and customised differently for each consumer.
The shape of these dividers was inspired by the negative space within the bike frames. I wanted to design an exhibit that was accessible from multiple directions. The dividers directed movement throughout the exhibit while also creating transparency.
Since Rivendell focuses on advertising their attributes as a brand, I believed I should focus on displaying that information throughout the exhibit. Each divider would utilize LED screens that dsiplayed a motion picture. Viewers would also be able to interact with each bike positioned throughout the exhibit.
