Vivienne Westwood Illustrative Biography

Brief:

This was for my Final Major Project in College, when I was studying a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma Media Production/Publishing Print Based Media. We could create whatever we wanted, however it had to be over 12 pages and consist of printing a 'book'.

I decided to choose a illustrative biography as personally I would rather see something visual, than in words. I also wanted to experiment making collages and graphics that represent her life. I chose Vivienne Westwood as she has had a very interesting life journey, and felt it would maximise my work into being as creative as it can be - I also enjoyed having prints and patterns of hers to use within the design. All of the illustrations were created by myself, and each page features a different theme/identity - depending on what was going on in her life at the time. It was a fun way to research and get involved with fashion, without looking at the clothes.
