Behind The Design
The Route 3 Bombers are an ice hockey team that wanted a classic, sporty, and masculine logo for their team. The color palette was black, white, brown, and vegas gold. I went with somewhat of a 50s retro style logo. I wanted the logo to look mean so I made a bomber drop three bombs with sharp smiling teeth. The middle bomb has a hockey stick in his mouth to symbolize that their hockey team. The team also wanted the route sign as a background for their logo.

What Is 99designs?
99designs is a website that can let anyone or any company host a graphic design contest. The host posts what they want (logo, label, website, etc.) with a deadline and a cash prize. They also explain what they want in the design and talk about what their/project is about. Anybody with a 99designs account can enter as many times as they want. At the end, the host will pick the design they like best.
