Teaching at Deakins University
This project was made during my time at EON Reality as a tutor for Deakins University (Melbourne). As I was to make the entire lesson from scratches and needed it to be thorough I had relatively little time to actually prepare any models (less than two weeks).

The iconic ship leaving orbit with a scorching star in the background
This was an introduction to efficient high-polygonal modeling. The purpose was to balance the use of maps and modeling using Autodesk 3DS Max
A wire frame view of the model
The wire-frame of the above picture straight from the editor, every special effects are done via particles (like the stars), shaders (rings and flame bursts) and the post processing effects in 3DS Max
Horseshoe crab, to display efficient use of specular and lights
This is a Horseshoe crab that was used to demonstrate the use of a specular map and well placed lights to make a simple model look better.
Alexander the Great's father burial shield, restored virtually
This shield was just for demonstrating a common use of a bump map along with clever use of UV for repeating patterns (this is the result in the editor).
Student Island
This is an island I made for the student so they can design objects to be part of a bigger environment. The scene later contained their assets added to it.
