PERFECTION — Women's Rights Propaganda
A non-profit propaganda campaign was created to tackle the problem of women stereotypes. We live in a society where the individual judgment focuses on the looks of a person paying no attention to what is inside. Therefore the goal of this project is to create awareness about the standards that our society believes is “the perfect woman”. To achieve this, three posters were created to get people involved in this matter.
These posters reflect the three main stereotypes for women, “the perfect body”, “the perfect mom”, and “the perfect wife”. The design and concept for these are based on the 50s decade, which is one of the many decades where women seek this in order to consider themselves successful. These pictures present what men think is “the perfect woman” who is actually someone that does everything for them. We, as a society, need to understand that the perfect woman does not follow any stereotypes.
