Project: Cupertino Recycled

NOTE: This Project is a WIP, content will be added as completed. Thank you for understanding.
I wanted to give iOS a modern design change by using a combination of what I felt worked in both Android and iOS. I am a fan of Google's Material design language, but let's be honest: Apple has some good design language too. I wanted my design to demonstrate a hybrid of what could happen if the 2 companies joined forces and created a phone with kickass software to match a kickass phone.
Introducing Project: Cupertino Recycled, a UX project aimed to exhibit the best combination of software design from the perspective of a user of both platforms.
The home button has been replaced with 4 dots, meant to represent the ever-presence of the digital assistant in addition to being a way to remind the user they can swipe up on the dots for any action they may need. This also acts as a replacement for the Home Bar in Cupertino-based design, which I felt was a little excessive despite doing a pretty good job and always being responsive.
Designs were based on the iPhone X for 2 reasons. First, Apple seems to be moving in the direction where FaceID will be on the base level iPhone starting in 2018 in addition to their upcoming iPads. Second, Android P will have built-in support for displays exhibited on devices such as the iPhone X, so having a design that is made for devices that have these abnormal displays I feel was the best design decision. As for having TouchID and FaceID, this is due to the iPhone X to have originally have been rumored to have a fingerprint reader in the display, and seeing some phones have accomplished this very task I feel it's a feature worth designing around.
