I chose to conceptualize an engagement-themed ad campaign for the world’s premier jeweler, Tiffany&Co.
Having a male target audience between the ages of 20-30, the challenge was in designing an ad that would appeal to the opposite sex, as well as appearing affordable to my intended consumers.
Tiffany&Co.’s jewelry designs are inspired by the natural world. They imbue patterns of simplicity, harmony and clarity in all their pieces and because this is the essence of their company, I translated these key elements into my design.
The majority of male consumers prefer efficiency when shopping and Tiffany offers the perfect solution; each engagement ring encompasses a selection of matching men’s wedding bands. 
By using images in a simple layout of both rings in various fashions, and by adding simplistic phrases such as ‘perfect for each other’; I created a double-entendre that my consumers could identify with as well creatively reinforce the message.
Staying consistent with a simplistic theme, I opted to restrict colouring to the robin’s egg blue in Tiffany’s logo. I also found that a sans serif font like Avant Garde Gothic was more masculine, and therefore would appeal to my targeted demographic.
