Grayson is without a doubt my main influence and idol throughout my ceramic journey. After reading through his biography I became obsessed with his life stories and how he portrayed these into his ceramics. Seeing his vases fascinate me as they contradict what a ‘vase’ should look like, with crude transfers and glazes. Not only is he a treasured maker but I also find his lectures about the art world entrancing to listen and makes you question the world around you.
