Alexander McQueen
Reimagining print for fashion

"To create a big dress with feathers .... oh, and its got to look really good, 'cause I don’t use bright colours much"
- Lee McQueen.

Working as part of the design team from 2001 - 06, and as one of the founding members of the internal fashion print department, the feather series was Christopher Pearsons's most personal and distinct project. It became a signature print and has appeared a number of times in different forms over the years.
In late 2003 Jennifer Osterhoudt (Head of Accessories) & Chris Pearson created the Alexander McQueen Scull Scarf. It went into production, and has since become an integral part of the McQueen brand.
