When Selser Schaefer Architects held their first annual Pop-Up Block Party, they wanted something that would grab attention and hint at the nature of the event. The party was to be held in the metered parking spaces in front of the office with artificial turf, potted plants, lawn furniture and food trucks creating a temporary urban park.

I researched and calculated the feasibility of using artificial turf as postcards and found a way to make it work. Once the direction was approved, I collaborated with the marketing department to develop the content and layout. I coordinated with the architectural department to create the featured sketch, which was used in the Save the Date and also translated to an electronic format for a follow-up invitation.
