The Holyrood Squid is a personal illustration I worked on between bouts of client work. I started the illustration thinking about correlating the subject within it's background. I wanted to have the squid rising from the sea and merging into the mountains. Holyrood has a Squid festival each year with music and activities,
so I felt this squid should be a musical one.
