TestFawn is a tool prototype I designed to make automated UI testing of web applications easier.

The premise is simple and has just two steps: Record and Assert. When in Record mode, you can browse the website using the app's action events (like click, mouse down etc). In Assert mode, you can add assertions on what changed. The app also suggests some assertions for you to pick from based on the changes that happened on that element on the page.

Test steps are a collection of recorded events and assertions.

Select an element and trigger an action, and it will be both recorded and triggered.

For events that require additional attributes, extra options will be asked in a modal.
