a card for sending a message by post without an envelope, typically having a photograph or other illustration on one side.
Imagine receiving a postcard from a friend who is travelling in a far away country. Or sending one to your friends/ family back home when you are traveling somewhere without them. Sending these little cards with your own handwritten message and locations that make you sick (in the stomach with nostalgia) on the other side of it, don't postcards just qualify as a great personalised travel souvenir?
Exactly the same way a series of my own postcard- like images from travels, created at these picturesque places traced and every time the heart was moved by experiences so revitalising, in a peculiar signature style.
