Scanner Stop Motion Animation: The Outback

Scanner Stop Motion Animation: The Outback
The Brief
To make an animation that is an experimental effective projection.

Creative Outcome
I made a 33 seconds stop motion animation with frames entirely produced by using a scanner. In total, it took 204 scanned frames to complete this animation. The video consisted of various printed images of the typography found on the signage's at Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia and things that represent the essence of the Australian Outback. I was experimenting on trying to produce different creative outcomes with a photocopier and it was an effective projection of the concept because there is a strong contrast between the black and white.
