One Time - movie with a pinhole camera

'One Time' is a film that shows all that goes on behind the scenes in the recording of a projected film into a digital format.

The footage is of a day spent with a friend on our college campus. The movie is a humorous compilation of the process and challenges faced when working with limited and outdated resources in learning how to operate a film projector.

A pinhole camera is a simple camera without a lens or mirror. In its most basic form, it is a light proof container with a pinhole at one end and a light sensitive material on the other.

This movie was a result of a workshop where we learnt how to make a pinhole camera, and shoot on 16mm film. The camera was made with recycled objects and the film was developed using household materials like coffee and washing powder. The raw footage was projected and then recorded on a digital camera which was further edited to create a movie.
