Purpose: The purpose of this project was to create two posters which represent the psychedelic artwork created in the 60's. We had to make sure our color schemes and everything looked great. I did my artwork on the Rolling Stones and Frank Zappa.

Process (Programs, Tools, Skills, etc.): Programs I used for this project were Adobe illustrator and the adobe color wheel. The main tools I used were the pen tool, the ink dropper tool, and the gradient mesh. I used the pen tool for most of the art work and filled it in with the ink dropper tool. I used the type and gradient mesh tool to make the words look more psychedelic. I enjoyed this project because it really makes you work hard and be creative. The psychedelic posters made me use critical thinking skills, and learn a couple more tools I can use down the road.

Color Theory: The color scheme I used was triad and I think it came out very nice.
