Situated in a mexican rural village, with an ambiguous fifties-like era. The story is told from the point of view of Alma (soul in Spanish), a 6 year-old girl who has just lost his father and has to go through the mourning and understanding of death and separation by herself. Carmen is her mother and Marcos her brother.
