Face Off is a silly, humorous comic strip that explores facial expressions as the main communication tool, which tells the idea of the intensity in eating competition. The ‘intensity’ is achieved by dividing each page of the comic into two main columns, in which each column represents the candidate.
This comic strip is adapted from the story of eating competition between Takeru Kobayashi - a Japanese competitive eater, and Joey Chestnut - an American competitive eater. The main idea that is emphasised from this strip is not about who is the winner or loser, but taking the humorous and witty side when someone is just focused on their pride and do silly things, it will just result into nothing - they both puked at the end of this comic strip.
