Imagination
Inside the mind of an autistic child
This seeds of this project were planted when my son Edward was diagnosed with autism at 18 months.  A year later, after an intense routine of daily therapy, his personality had started to emerge, and I could see that even though he could not communicate, he was thinking deeply, understanding, and playing meaningfully with this toys.  He indeed had an imagination.  This project attempts to bring to visualize form my son's dreams of playing with his own toys.  The toys become full size adversaries, he becomes the super hero, and I relive my childhood through the movie icons I grew up with.  I hope you enjoy this conceptual series.
