The brief was to create a space where VANS could tell their unique story to key customer Schuh of how they transformed from a small skateboarding community in 60’s California, to a fashion brand loved the world over today.
Using reference from the coming of-age high-school film ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High’, LOVE built a class room style space that took Schuh’s staff on an emotional & interactive journey of the brand’s history.
My task was to illustrate all of the graphics for the room, which ranged from a collection of print collateral to a giant hand drawn Van’s timeline. The timeline chalkboard was saved from the pop up and has since been rehoused in the green room at the House of Vans in London.
