When a sheet of zinc metal was dropped into a solution containing copper sulfate and sulfuric acid, two things happened: (1) hydrogen bobbles were generated due to the reaction between zinc and sulfuric acid, and (2) reddish copper emerged due to the reaction between zinc and copper sulfate.
Reaction between zinc metal and copper sulfate solution generated copper metal, which fell off the surface due to gravitational force.
