[1995] Tijuana, Mexico.
The quality of this obviously is very poor. It was taken with a film SLR and later scanned in. I include it in my portfolio because I won second place for it at the Deschutes County Fair, in Central Oregon, where I grew up.
[2013]   Canon T5i.  Yaquina Bay, Newport, Oregon.
This was one of my earliest photo shoots with a DSLR.  I was still using the camera on Auto and had no idea how to take pictures of sunsets.  I was surprised at the results.
[2016]  iPhone 6s Plus.  Seaside, Oregon.
Unfortunately, this was an unexpected stop and I did not have my Canon with me.  I used what I had and am surprised at how well these turned out.  This was the first photo shoot/trip after having my vision restored.
[2016] Canon 70d.  Seaside, Oregon.
My very first photo after having my vision back.
[2013]  Canon T5i.
One of my earliest shots where subjects with backlight usually ended up as a silhouette.
[2016]  Canon 70d.  Seaside, Oregon.
I don't remember actually taking this, but ran across it after the fact.  I like it, but would have done some things differently had I actually consciously taken this.  I think I was just shooting to get used to the newer camera and get my settings adjusted.
[2016] iPhone 6s Plus.  Seaside, Oregon.
I love how the Oregon coast is a mix of sand, grass, lava rock etc.  I think it makes for unique and beautiful shores.

This was originally very dark and upon lightening it the graininess became more apparent.  I attempted to add some filters to make it look more artistic/watercolor -like.
