A futuristic sportswear concept for a busy woman who's always on the go.
'In a about a decade, when the difference between sportswear and evening wear has gotten even more feeble than what it is today and the landfills are overflowing with cheap clothes from both categories, the future woman needs to take action! Sportswear will be aesthetically pushed forward and transformable into evening wear. The partially pleated skirt flows just as elegantly while running and while balancing on high heels at a coctail party. While exercising, the flared and cropped top enables a gentle breeze to cool down the heat, but also, give the wearer some jelous stares later at the party for those hot abs.
The airy, thin and transluscent white silk is partially stiffer and rubbery caused by the print paste. This contradicting combination allows the fabric to stay firmly straight, at the same time as it is airy and flowy. The transluscent pocket and the long, white flap on the front makes the wearers hand an extra element to the suit. Another mobile element is the print and fabric itself. Depending on the wearers speed and movements the pleating will open and close, thus revealing new patterns and elements constantly.'
