This outfit was constructed in my Patternmaking III class during my Spring 2012 semester. I was inspired by bringing the past to the future. I tookinspiration from the 80s by using big shoulders and also elbow patches. Thefuturistic vibe I also wanted to include can an over-sized collar and sharplines in the jacket bottom. I used camel colored wool with accents of metallic faux leather. The jacket is fully lined. The pants are made of black cottontwill also using the faux leather patches on the side of the hips.
I created this gown in my patternmaking III class in spring 2012. I was inspired by old Hollywood so I decided to use lace. The dress underneath is a sweat heart strapless dress with a lace overlay. The middle is hand sewing sash made out of silk georgette.
