This portfolio includes some of my best work in several different areas.
   
This is a billboard I created for one of my classes. We were told to make something that would gain attention on I-35 (a major highway in Oklahoma) and hopefully bring in new students. A majority of our students choose Northwestern because of our sports programs. I thought that this would be a great way to show some of the variety.

I created a marketing plan for a made up business. I wanted to open an Event Planning agency called "CNC Event Planning." This was the business card I used in my marketing tools portion of the portfolio.
I also do the advertising design at the Northwestern News Newspaper. The next few items are different ads that I have created by following the business instructions.

El Maya is a new Mexican Restaurant that will be opening soon in Alva. They wanted to incorporate bold colors to grab the viewers attention while convincing people to come and eat at their business.
The last two are for Holder Drug. Each week they change their advertisement to follow along with the activities that the college students are a part of. The first one was published in the paper the week before spring break and the second was published in the fall for the NWOSU rodeo weekend.

In class we were asked to create a new heading for the Northwestern News newspaper. I chose to do something more current that would appeal to our demographics. I had certain information that had to be included and then I added some elements that are not in our current design.

The Perserveing Ranger Award is a design that I created for their award's banquet. It needed to have the word SERVE stand out. I used several strategies to achieve this. I liked having different fonts and sizes. I used consistent colors to ensure that the page still meshed well.

The last four I created for class as a viewbook. The viewbook is a promotional tool that we use for incoming freshman to see what our university has to offer. There are certain things that are included in the book every year. This is a shortened version because the actual book includes approximately 30 pages. I used the concept of chapters because I believe that each thing has been a chapter in my life to move toward graduating from college and going into the real world.
